Astrology
is based on astronomical terms, astronomy deals with the measurements of
different celestial/luminous bodies, computing the longitude of the planets
independently, determining the period of eclipse etc. With the advancement of
science and technology we have invented powerful telescopes, artificial
satellites, spaceships etc.and we are now familiar with the astonishing world of
stars and planets. Now we have the knowledge of several mathematical
calculations in respect of position, movements and the path of stars and
planets, their inner and outer structure and lot more, but there is still plenty
to be discovered. All
the objects present in the sky are known as celestial bodies, they are spread
all over the space and this space is known as the Universe. There are millions
of stars are grouped together and these groups of stars as whole is known as
Galaxy. There are a number of galaxies in the universe, galaxy is spiral and is
rotating around its nucleus. Our Sun also belongs to a galaxy and it is known as
the 'Milky Way Galaxy'. We
calculate movements and speed of planets on the basis of astronomy, eclipses etc
.are also considered on the basis of astronomical terms. It means that the basis
of astrology is astronomy likewise 12 houses of birth chart are divided
into 12raashis(signs) and the position & movement of planets are
taken on the basis of astronomical terms i.e. up to casting of horoscope we
consider astronomy and the predictive part of the horoscope is done on the basis
of astrology. According to astrology there nine planets-Sun, Moon, Mercury,
Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn & two imaginary points which are called nodes
(two chhaya grahs known as Rahu and Ketu. INDIAN ASTROLOGY Indian Astrology is a vast subject which requires attention on many aspects and combinations. Practically an astrologer has to keep in mind all the following aspects before giving predictions and it is if not impossible yet difficult to remember/recollect all the combination at one point of time. For analyzing a house according to Indian Astrology and giving any prediction one should consider carefully the following factors : 1. House strength, aspects, conjunction and location of lord of the house. 2. Rashi present in house. 3. The natural qualities of the house and rashi, location and strength of rashi lord. 4. Yoga 5. Planets posited in that house, their relation with house lord and rashi lord. 6. The exaltations and debilitations of the rashi lord and planets. 7. The Nakshatra or Constellation in which Planets are at the time of birth. 8. The age, position, status and sex of the subject. 9. The degree of Planets. 10. Combination of Planets if present in Birth Chart. 11. When the Dasha or period of a house lord or rashi lord comes. 12. Position of Planets in Navansha. 13. Position of Planets in Moon Chart. 14. Position of Planets in other Chart (Charts according to Degrees).
Lal-Kitab (Red Book) ASTROLOGY According to the Red Book Astrology system the Lagan/Ascendant or Rashis/Signs are not considered and aspects of Planets and houses are also very simple and diffirent from other Astrological systems. Exaltation and debilitation points are fixed and Dasha or period are also fixed. We do not consider other Charts and degree of Planets. Combination or Yoga are very few and different from others. Moon Chart and Annual Horoscopy or Varshphla system is also different from other Astrological systems. Red Book Astrology is a most useful system of Astrology and one can hope to learn the subject with easy-chair method. Efforts, concentration, strenuous work considerable amount of experience and intuition are necessary in order to be a good Astrologer. It is hoped that due research will prove to be of immense use to all those aspirant for whom it is meant or who have great interest for Metaphysics. |
